Marketing Coordinator

The Marketing Coordinator is directly responsible for executing on the company’s marketing plans, working in partnership with and supporting the Marketing Director.

Job Summary

  • Conduct research on competitor activities and market opportunities
  • Conduct focus groups, surveys, etc. to understand patient, referral sources, and general public ideas, attitudes, and opinions
  • Conduct special research projects
  • Research and keep a pulse on marketing trends and opportunities
  • Continually seek and research new sources of prospective customer data, and provide recommendations to sales and marketing leadership
  • Maintains promotional materials stock, places orders, keeps up with promo item trends
  • Maintain a directory and inventory of sales support and collateral materials, ensuring all resources are current and accurate, and coordinate the creation of new materials as needed
  • Maintain point of care marketing
  • Drafts, distributes, and pitches content for news releases and maintains media lists and media relations
  • Monitor and advise on marketing needs and opportunities
  • Plan, manage, and attend special events as needed
  • Develops creative ideas and solutions
  • Prepare marketing activity reports and metrics for measuring program success
  • Research and develop whitepapers and eBooks
  • Create or oversee creation of animated videos
  • Curate content through guest blogging and reciprocate by blogging as a guest on other websites
  • Create infographics
  • Capture photos of company events, gatherings, and every day business functions
  • Provide support to the Business Development Director
  • Conduct research on business development opportunities
  • Manage community events calendar and sponsorships and attend as needed
  • Compile data on business development activities
  • Work in CRM to enter information and pull reporting

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to lift 20-50 lbs.
  • Occasional to frequent walking, sitting, standing, driving
  • Close eye work (computers, typing, reading, writing)

Required Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Advertising
Required Experience: 1-2 years’ Marketing experience, preferable in healthcare Marketing; Knowledge of traditional and digital marketing, content marketing, and social media marketing; Familiarity working with customer relationship management (CRM) tools; Proficiency in full Microsoft Office suite, especially with Excel and PowerPoint

Proper Knowledge and Skills

  • Proper English and grammar, usage and spelling
  • Software application related to the field
  • General offices principles and practices
  • Basic computer knowledge including email etiquette
  • Professional phone and customer service demeanor

Required licenses or certifications

  • Current CPR Certification
  • Narcan Certified

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $45,000-$50,000
