Intake and Assessment Therapist
Locations: Telehealth, Yardley, PA
Anna attended Wesleyan College and Mercer University for her Bachelor and Master’s degrees. She grew up and is a Georgia native of 27 years. She relocated in 2019 to Northeastern Pennsylvania. She has worked everywhere from outpatient mental health to an inpatient psych ward. She has experience as a counselor for individuals, kids, teens, couples, and older adults with a variety of mental health issues. She believes that we are all more than a diagnosis (label) and encourages her clients to achieve better self-esteem, reduce life stressors, and to connect with their inner child on their journey to healing. She utilizes three primary approaches: CBT, TF-CBT, and DBT. There are other modalities she is trained in. She has a passion for sports (soccer, football, and golf). She enjoys reading romance series, young adult books, and nonfiction stories. In her free time she loves Netflix, HBO, Tiktok, and playing board games.
Anna grew up in a home that did not discuss mental healthcare. She discovered her own mental health issues as an adult. She has ADHD and Anxiety and is medicated for both. She wants to ensure that future generations do not have to function without their mental health being tended to as it is critical for every day functioning and development.
