About Darren Friedman
Darren is a Licensed Professional Counselor in New Jersey. She has received her M.S.Ed. in Counseling and Mental Health Services as well as a M.Phil.Ed. in Professional Counseling from the University of Pennsylvania. With a person-centered approach at the root of all my clinical practices, Darren often utilizes CBT and DBT interventions with clients. He believes that through gaining insight into one’s thought processes alongside a supportive clinician, meaningful changes can be made and sustained. Darren is passionate about helping clients feel less alone despite the barriers of physical distance. During his free time, Darren enjoys traveling, sampling local restaurants, and watching football.

Why are you passionate about providing mental healthcare?
Darren feels that after experiencing how mental illness can disrupt an individual and their loved ones, he is passionate about providing hope, support and care to those who are feeling any impacts on their mental health.
