About Denise K Mayer
Denise is an LCSW and earned her master’s in social work from the University of Southern California (USC) in 2017. She has experience working in an outpatient mental health setting and treatment working with clients with anxiety, depression, mood disorders, OCD, ADHD, self-esteem, bullying, women’s issues, and specializing in working with young adult transition issues. Denise uses clinical interventions such as CBT, motivational interviewing, problem-solving, mindfulness, and strength-based while engaging with clients one on one in a warm, non-judgmental manner.
Denise has been successful in focusing on young adult issues and helping those discover who they are and what goals they want to achieve as they transition from youth to young adults. She also happens to love dogs and spends time with Jack Russel Bella.

Why are you passionate about providing mental healthcare?
For Denise, being a person that has struggled with anxiety and having difficulty in young adult transitions, she wanted to help those people so they can be inspired by her achievements of going to school for her MSW and becoming a LCSW.
