About Jayne Licata
Jayne graduated with highest honors from her undergraduate and graduate programs. After almost ten years as a successful corporate manager, Jayne pursued a career as a social worker and addiction counselor. Jayne has worked as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and addiction counselor (LCADC) for over 15 years. She has worked with clients of all ages, from very young children to adolescents and adults, in various settings, from hospitals to homes, to outpatient facilities. Jayne has managed IOP programs for both adolescents and adults for mental health and addiction. Jayne has consistently worked with other providers in the medical field, such as medical directors, psychiatrists, nutritionists, and physician therapists; which has given her a unique perspective of the importance of caring not only for your mind or mental health, but also the health of one’s body and the importance of hope, faith, and spirituality. Facing many personal life challenges in her own life and working in this field for over 15 years, Jayne feels the ability to instill a sense of hope within her client, as well a client’s belief in their own inner strength are some of the most important factors in a successful therapeutic journey. Jayne’s personal interests include spending time with her adult children and family. She feels her hobbies help to enrich her spirit, such as painting, playing the piano, training her puppy for therapeutic ventures, and spending as much time as possible in nature, especially by the ocean.
