Jessica Troxler, LSW
Jessica Troxler has been in the field of Mental Health and Addiction Counseling since 2017. She received her Master’s in Social Work from Rutgers University in 2019 with a specialization in addiction counseling. She has experience working with a wide variety of mental health disorders and substance use disorders. Jessica believes that it’s important to build a trusting therapeutic relationship in order to achieve treatment goals. Her treatment approaches are always individualized for each client based on their needs and preferences. She strives to help guide her clients to reach their full potential and build upon their strengths. In her free time Jessica enjoys yoga, exercising, dancing, and spending time with friends and family.
Jessica originally started as a Biology major trying to pursue a career in the medical field. However, she has always had a passion for helping others and became interested in psychology. She also has a passion for nutrition and fitness, and she likes to integrate that knowledge into her practice. Jessica is always eager to learn new treatment approaches and continue to grow as a clinician.
Jessica is passionate about providing mental healthcare because there is still a stigma attached to it. It can be uncomfortable for people to reach out for help, and a clinician needs to make sure they receive the best quality of care. She hopes to help as many people as possible reach their fullest potential and reduce the stigma attached to the mental health field.
