Yardley, Pennsylvania (September 12, 2022) – Harmony Bay opened its newest location last week to address the mental health crisis in which more than 598,000 Pennsylvanians have no access to mental health services such as therapy and psychiatry. As the region’s premier mental health provider, Harmony Bay aims to improve access to mental health care, making it convenient and affordable for all residents.

AJ Solomon, Founder and CEO of Harmony Bay Wellness, joined former Philadelphia City District Attorney Lynne Abraham, who spoke at the opening and advocated for the expansion of behavioral health services. In addition, Pennsylvania Representative Perry Warren (D-31) and Frank Farry (R-132) joined the ribbon cutting.

“Harmony Bay is pleased to extend its behavioral health services into the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and ensure all residents have immediate and much-needed access to therapy and psychiatry,” Solomon explained.

As Solomon explained, our society has done an incredible job providing timely care for injuries such as sprained ankles and fevers with the development of urgent care centers. However, even the most basic mental health needs aren’t able to be met due to a lack of accessible resources.

“Behavioral health support shouldn’t be accompanied by long waiting periods,” Solomon added. “Harmony Bay prides itself on offering same-day services, either in-person or through telehealth, to guarantee care remains accessible.

“Mental illness touches all of us; it is not something that happens to someone else,” Lynne Abraham, Philadelphia City District Attorney, explained. “It’s important that there is more openness, transparency, and understanding about depression, anxiety, and addiction. Having places like Harmony Bay open in our community signifies good things for our friends, neighbors, and community members alike.”

The Harmony Bay model offers short- and long-term options for mental health. Our team of licensed therapists and psychiatric specialists treat a variety of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, stress, and PTSD. Further services include Integrative Wellness Services, Intensive Outpatient Therapy, Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS), Telehealth, and Spravato.

Through its comprehensive telehealth services, Harmony Bay makes mental health treatment more accessible than ever before. In addition to offering top-quality care via a phone, tablet, or another smart device, they also provide apps and additional information to help manage mental health conditions.

You are not alone if you are scared, anxious, nervous, depressed, struggling to sleep, on edge, or worried. Immediate help is available online or in person. Appointments are available now from 9:00 a.m.–9:00 p.m. Monday to Friday and 9:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m. on Saturdays.
