About
Ansimon Rezk, LPC, has been practicing therapy for about ten years. She achieved her license as a Professional Counselor in New Jersey in 2021. She conducts individual, couples, and family sessions. Ansimon structures therapy sessions as follows, the first session is usually an introductory session; clients begin by introducing themselves, discussing what brings them to therapy, what are they looking to achieve out of our sessions, and lastly, Ansimon would like to know what coping skills had worked for them in the past. In the subsequent sessions, you would work on goals and develop a treatment plan. Treatment plans change as clients change their goals. She uses different types of therapeutic approaches, such as family therapy, play therapy, CBT, and SFBT. She likes to use whatever suits the client. Ansimon believes everyone is unique in their own way, which is why she structures treatment plans to accommodate their needs. Some of Ansimon’s hobbies are playing basketball, spending time with her family and friends, going out to dinners, working out, and doing charity work.
