About

Michelle is a strengths-based therapist who takes an open and warm approach to therapy. She believes that everyone can benefit from having someone to support them through tough times and be a cheerleader through the amazing ones! She went to school for undergrad at The College of New Jersey, where she studied Psychology and Art, and then for her Master’s degree at Thomas Jefferson University, where she studied Couple and Family Therapy. Michelle’s love of “why humans do what they do” coupled with her passion for creativity plays a central role in how she helps to look for patterns, problem solve and offer compassion to her clients. Outside of work, you will find her painting and trying new art mediums, as she is always looking to try something new. Michelle has been in the field since 2016 and has worked in both Philadelphia and urban/suburban New Jersey. She has had experience working with children, teens, adults, couples, and families. Michelle is a systemic therapist, so she thinks not only about the individual but the system you are part of (couple, family) in order to get the bigger picture. She has worked in homes, homeless shelters, schools, and in residential settings. Michelle has loved all of her experiences; every setting has brought a new diverse population and wonderful people to meet!

Why Healthcare

Michelle believes that everyone deserves to have someone in their corner to support and listen to them. She wants to help everyone discover the best version of themselves and feels that it is already inside of you it just needs a light shed on it and sometimes an outside perspective can help with that!
