About
This therapist utilizes a person-centered approach and greatly values therapeutic relationships with clients. This therapist will work with you to gently unfold what is brought into the room and set the pace that feels most supportive to you—together, creating a safe and supportive space as we address your treatment needs and goals.
Why Michelle became a therapist: Starting early in life, children aren’t always given the tools they need to deal with life challenges. When we don’t have the right coping skills, we tend to rely on things that have worked in the past but might not help us be the person we want to be today. Whether a teen, young adult or older, you’re never too old or young to change your life.
Michelle's favorite things to do when not working are spending time with family and friends, taking care of her tropical plants, and traveling with her wife.

Why Healthcare
Because of personal life experiences, this clinician started in this field to help teenagers and young adults be someone they could talk to, relate to their struggles, be themselves, and not feel judged. After some years in the field working with that population, this therapist started working with older adults. Being compassionate, understanding, and empathetic comes naturally, even in her everyday life.
