About

Reem is a Licensed Social Worker in NJ and has experience working with individuals, couples, families, children and in school settings. In today’s world we are all struggling with something, and we all need a little help overcoming these struggles. Reem believes therapy can be a powerful tool in each person’s life. It’s her job to create a space where you feel safe enough to explore your innermost thoughts, concerns, and fears. We all get stuck in emotions and patterns that we don’t like, and Reem utilizes a “bottom-up approach” to help you get unstuck. We work on building body awareness so we can help your body feel safe and that in turn calms your brain down. When we address these unconscious emotions and feelings stuck in the body, we can move out of feeling stressed and anxious all the time and begin to thrive.

Reem has had the privilege of being a small part of helping people get to know themselves better and work towards the best version of themselves. She feels that being able to see how much they flourish as a person is the most rewarding feeling. She is also a Palestinian American Muslim woman, and she knows how difficult it can be to find a therapist who can understand and validate her experience.
