About
Alandra is a young professional with an array of therapeutic experiences. She began practicing in 2017, working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, and family concerns. She continued working at an Inpatient Rehabilitation Center for adults struggling with Addiction and co-occurring mental illness. During this time, Alandra specialized in trauma-informed care and helped individuals struggling with PTSD to achieve post-traumatic growth. This experience led her to become extremely passionate about helping others recover from trauma responses. She was able to help individuals reclaim power and beauty back into their lives. Following this work, Alandra began working with individuals struggling with suicidal ideation, self-harm urges, substance abuse, trauma reactions, and gender and sexuality identity. She was able to help people feel more connected to themselves and others. She believes that some of the most powerful connections we can make are with others and, most of all, with ourselves. Alandra truly believes that everyone has a self that urges to be connected to in many ways. She makes it a personal goal to help people achieve true self-identity through therapeutic work and practice.

Credentials, Qualifications and Languages
Alandra earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at Niagara University, with a minor in sociology, where she focused a lot of that work in Women’s Studies courses. She continued her education at Villanova University and earned a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. During this time, she held Co-Chair for Diversity Programming in Chi Sigma Iota, an honor society for counseling graduate students. Shortly after graduating from Villanova, Alandra earned her National Certification in Counseling (NCC).
Why Healthcare
Alandra is passionate about providing mental health care because she felt alone for so long in her life and did not know what therapy was meant for. She learned early in life that getting help can change the outlook on someone’s life significantly. People deserve help and care from others to realize that they are worth more than they may feel inside.
