About

Liz is a Licensed Associate Counselor in the state of New Jersey with nearly 8 years of experience working with children, families, and adults in community based and in-home settings. Liz believes that good therapy begins and ends with supporting you in living fully and deeply by connecting with a life that matters to you. Suffering is both universal and unavoidable and can be made better or worse by the ways we respond to it.

Liz’s goal is to walk alongside you on the journey to discovering more adaptive and values-driven ways of showing up to life’s challenges by tapping into your inner wisdom, creativity, and strengths. Liz utilizes evidence-based cognitive, mindfulness, acceptance, and compassion-based strategies that are individually tailored to your specific needs, goals, and learning styles.

Moreover, Liz strives to create a space in which you feel valued, understood, and supported so that you feel safe and empowered to begin the difficult work of change.

When Liz isn’t working or chasing kids, she enjoys being outdoors (especially the beach), cooking, strong coffee, reading, gardening, and experiencing new things. Liz enjoys making the people she loves feel cozy and loved and believes that sometimes a good cookie can be as therapeutic as counseling.
