Kelly A. Dauenheimer, LCSW, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified School Social Worker through the New Jersey Department of Education. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Pace University and her Master’s degree in Social Work from Adelphi University. Kelly has experience providing outpatient mental health services to adolescents, teens, adults, and individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities and Autism Spectrum Disorders. She specializes in addressing concerns such as Anxiety, Depression, Adjustment Disorder, life transitions/changes, relationship issues, and social skills. Kelly utilizes interventions such as psychodynamic therapy and CBT, as well as draws from a person-centered and strengths-based approach.
Kelly believes creating a safe, non-judgmental space for her clients is essential in the therapeutic relationship and uses her naturally friendly demeanor to create strong bonds with clients of all ages and backgrounds. In her spare time, Kelly enjoys hiking, traveling, listening to music, watching tv (show recommendations are always welcome), and spending time with her family, friends, and cat (Bowie).
