About
Mashal has experience working in detox and rehab at a residential substance abuse and mental health treatment center and provided group and individual counseling for children, adolescents, and adults struggling with mental health disorders at an intensive outpatient psychiatric center. She also worked as a clinician and Program Manager for Supportive Housing at an agency helping women who struggled with mental health and addiction issues. Before her career as a mental health therapist, she worked as a make-up artist for over 15 years. Marshal found the most rewarding part of the work was the connection she made with women, listening to the stories of those that she came across and offering words of encouragement. Mashal then felt compelled to pursue her master’s degree and work for a greater cause and purpose.
