Nicole has worked in the field of Mental Health and Substance Abuse counseling for over 20 years. She has worked in various treatment facilities within all levels of care and modalities. Whether you’re struggling with a particular issue or just can’t shake the feeling that there should be more to life, therapy can help. She provides a caring and supportive environment in which clients can identify and explore those issues that may be getting in the way of creating a life worth living. Her goal is to help provide clients with the insights and tools needed to move beyond old, limiting beliefs and behaviors.

During her graduate studies, Nicole focused much of her research on adverse childhood experiences and their effects on adulthood. Other areas of interest include personality theory, abnormal psychology, psychopharmacology, and social psychology. She also has a special interest in working with Personality Disorders, specifically Borderline Personality Disorder, and victims of Narcissistic Abuse and generational narcissism within a family of origin. In addition, Nicole has facilitated trainings and workshops at various conferences and has experience teaching Psychology and Counseling at the undergraduate level.
