About
Khalida traditionally uses Psychodynamic therapy. She likes to help clients identify their strengths and rework behavior patterns that no longer work for them. She believes in gently challenging long-held beliefs and attitudes so clients can see more possibilities for them. Khalida uses a relational style and encourages clients to bring their full personalities to the therapy room. There is room for joy and humor in therapy, as well as connection and growth. They understand how larger forces of oppression work is essential to reworking how we have internalized these forces. Khalida enjoys working with the LGBTQ population and clients with immigrant, migrant, or refugee experiences.
