Sharifa D. Martin , LPC is an Alumna of Temple University, and the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine(PCOM- 2017). At PCOM, Sharifa received a Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling with a concentration in Addictions and Offenders. Sharifa has a wealth of knowledge working with individuals mandated to mental health treatment. In contrast, Sharifa has experience providing therapy to Philadelphia's police officers and their families. Sharifa also has experience working with adolescents in recovery from substance abuse and victims of crime. In addition, Sharifa has a wealth of clinical assessment and leadership experience. Sharifa also engages in organizational work, providing mental health awareness and access to therapy for black men.
Sharifa believes that everyone has the power to be an agent of change in their lives.
