About
Peter's love for counseling stems from the desire to help others become the best versions of themselves. From a young age, he knew that he wanted to help others through breakups, trauma, and everything that happens in between. He loves watching people become self-aware and see themselves as capable of making the changes they want in life.
Peter's approach to therapy is person-centered. You are the expert of your life, and he is here to help you navigate from point A to point B. His hope as a therapist is to create a safe space for you to feel comfortable discussing your life and the positive changes you hope to make. Therapy can be scary, but he aims to make it a journey of self-discovery.
Peter enjoys working with people from all walks of life, from children to adults, those just needing someone to talk things through with, to those needing help dealing with issues such as depression, grief, identity, anxiety, and those who have felt othered. He has worked with all populations in his journey as a therapist.
When Peter is not working, he likes hanging out with his husband, their son, and family and friends around the farm or at the bonfire, going out to the movies, and going on adventures. He graduated from Southern New Hampshire University with a Master of Arts degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.
