About
Faarah Misbah is a Licensed Associate Marriage and Family Therapist who believes that healing happens through genuine connection, compassion, and curiosity. She works with individuals, couples, and families navigating relational challenges, trauma, and life transitions. Her approach to therapy is collaborative, holistic, and grounded in systems thinking, meaning she views struggles not as isolated problems, but as part of a larger context that can be understood and shifted.
Faarah integrates evidence-based approaches such as Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), narrative therapy, and trauma-informed care in her work. She strives to create a space where clients feel safe, seen, and empowered to make meaningful changes in their lives and relationships. She pays special attention to cultural identity, family dynamics, and attachment patterns, tailoring therapy to fit each person’s unique story.
Outside of therapy, Faarah is a lifelong learner who finds joy in quiet mornings with a good book, exploring trails and natural spaces, and creating art through painting. She believes that creativity and time spent in nature are powerful sources of renewal. She often draws inspiration from them to stay grounded and present both in and outside the therapy room.
Faarah considers it an honor to walk alongside clients as they seek healing, growth, and a space to breathe and be understood
