Rebecca is a Licensed Social Worker with a passion for decreasing the stigma surrounding mental health and promoting the health and wellbeing of her clients. For her undergraduate degree, Rebecca moved from Central Jersey (Yes! It exists!) to South Jersey to attend Stockton University. Rebecca received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Social Work with a Minor in Behavioral Neuroscience from Stockton, and then moved on to attend graduate school in Philadelphia. Rebecca received her Master of Social Work Degree with a clinical concentration from the University of Pennsylvaniaās School of Social Policy and Practice in May of 2020.
Even though she loves life in the city, Rebecca could not stay away from her home state of New Jersey. As a recent graduate, Rebecca is looking forward to starting her career as an LSW with Harmony Bay Wellness. Rebecca embraces a strengths-based orientation in her clinical work, creating a safe, trauma-informed, and welcoming environment for all incoming clients.

After receiving her bachelorās degree in social work from Stockton University, Rebecca was accepted in the University of Pennsylvaniaās Advanced Standing MSW program, allowing her to complete her graduate degree in 9 months. Through this accelerated program, Rebeccaās passion for the intersection of mental health and physical health grew. Rebecca gained experience and knowledge in a variety of treatment modalities including CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, Narrative Therapy and Parent- Child Interaction Therapy. Rebecca intends to gain certifications in said treatment modalities, and has a strong interest in providing specialized, trauma-informed care. Rebecca has recently started the supervision process to become a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
Why Healthcare
Rebeccaās passion for providing mental healthcare began with her own personal journey witnessing and experiencing depression and anxiety. The hope of providing exceptional mental healthcare to those struggling with similar difficulties continues to be Rebeccaās driving motivation for her career in the mental healthcare field.
