About
Betty has nearly 11 years of experience collaborating and working with clients with various physical, learning, and mental health issues. Betty’s training and experience as a Vocational Rehabilitation counselor and Clinical psychologist gives her a unique perspective on some of the issues that can increase one’s anxiety and lower one’s self-worth. In her treatment approaches, she uses person-centered therapy, mindfulness, cognitive behavioral therapy, psychoeducational, and Christian-based teachings for those interested in exploring or strengthening their spirituality. Betty believes that to be truly whole includes a healthy balance of our biological, psychological, social, and spiritual well-being. As a practicing Catholic, Betty enjoys serving as a cantor in her church. She also enjoys reading mystery novels, good movies, and gardening. Betty hopes that in working together, you can find clarity, balance, peace, and growth in this journey of life.

Why Healthcare
Betty feels that everyone has a right to be whole, healthy, and happy. To be authentically who they are, not what others think they should be. In order to do that you have to be willing to look within gently, kindly, truthfully and lovingly. Betty also feels that as a therapist it is a humbling and wonderful experience to stand with, walk with and sit with someone who is struggling or experiencing inner pain and anxiety and help them grow to healing and wholeness. Betty is grateful to have the knowledge and skills to be able to help those who are willing to take that journey to inner freedom.
