About
Despite growing up in South Jersey, Chad took a circuitous route to Harmony Bay. After graduating from American University with a degree in Anthropology, Chad traveled throughout his 20s, a time of inward and outward searching for him. Chad spent time at Buddhist Monasteries in Thailand, Sufi Centers in New Zealand, Hare Krishna Ashrams in Australia, eventually earning a Masterâs Degree in Creation Spirituality from Naropa University.
Chad began his career in the mental health field, working as a Developmental Play Therapist in Los Angeles. After relocating to the east coast with his wife and their new baby, he decided to obtain a second Masterâs Degree in Clinical Counseling from La Salle University.
Since then, Chad has worked with a broad range of clients from youth with Autism Spectrum Disorder, adults with dual diagnosis mental health/substance abuse co-morbidities, to students in crisis at The Wellness Center at Rowan University.
Still fascinated by lifeâs âbiggerâ questions, Chad marries a heart-centered existential approach with evidenced-based CBT techniques in his therapy practice. When heâs not at work, Chad can usually be found obsessing over music, film, spirituality, or out somewhere coaching, playing, watching, or *thinking about* soccer. Lots and lots of soccer.

Why Healthcare
Chad subscribes to Irving Yalomâs âfellow travelersâ philosophy of psychotherapy that seeks to eradicate the old hierarchy of âtherapistâ and âpatient.â He considers it a sacred honor to be walking alongside his clients on the road toward more healthy, passionate, fulfilling lives and, as such, find himself just as inspired through the process of therapy as they are.
