About
Dana is a licensed clinical social worker. Her strengths as a clinician are building rapport, encouraging engagement, and creating a safe space for all of her clients. She uses research-based theoretical approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy to ensure that her clients make and see progress in their daily lives. She works with her clients to challenge and reframe their internal negative thoughts and belief systems. Dana aspires to support her client's strengths and help them achieve their goals. She has extensive experience working in outpatient settings to support clients with depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress, gender and sexuality, relationship and familial issues. She has also served as a first responder for survivors of sexual assault, human trafficking and domestic violence. In Dana's personal time, she loves to travel around the world and spend time with her two horses, Harper, who is a former racehorse that has never stopped running, and Finley, a quarter horse that chases cows.
