About
Kari has been practicing since 2010 and began specializing in dual-diagnosis and addiction treatment, which led to her obtaining her LCADC in 2018. She uses CBT and motivational interviewing techniques to address addiction with co-occurring mental health issues. She has a special interest in grief/bereavement. Kari is a huge animal lover but don't ask her if she is more of a cat or dog person. She also considers herself to be a foodie.

Why Healthcare
Kari has always been the person came to when they needed to talk or be supported. That, in turn, led to her pursing a psychology degree in college. Kari wants to continue to be that person to others, especially when mental health and addiction issues are still so stigmatized.
