About
Much of Michael’s education and career experience has been rooted in dual-diagnosis or co-morbid therapeutic relationships. Using these lessons, the goal of therapy is to create an environment where one feels at ease and can speak about the things that are truly bothersome and perpetual; to access and process the emotions, thoughts, behaviors, and all things human that make us, us. The approach orients towards being gentle, calming, and compassionate. It is a non-judgmental space where there is a specific plan crafted for wellness. An individual who enters a therapeutic relationship with Michael is ready to become more aware, attentive, and disciplined towards themself. The framework utilizes various therapeutic approaches and techniques. Depending on the person and their goal, Michael will do his best to meet the individual where they are at and work from there. Some of these therapies include Acceptance Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and pull in from various other sources. Michael exudes a “practice what you preach” attitude. He strives to find balance in his own life, which includes fragrance, the gym, video games, and spending time with loved ones.
