Brandon subscribes to a person-centered, resource-oriented approach that focuses on the skills and abilities that clients bring to therapy. Brandon seeks to work collaboratively with clients to help develop their skills and learn new skills. Brandon draws from a range of skills and techniques related to CBT and DBT skills, as well as the use of empathetic listening and motivational interviewing. Brandon takes time to learn about clients and their diverse experiences in order to provide the best treatment possible. Brandon has worked with a variety of populations related to mental health in an inpatient psychiatric hospital and in an outpatient addiction treatment center. Brandon is passionate about community, education, and mentorship. Brandon has been a mentor with big brothers big sisters of eastern Massachusetts since 2022. Brandon is also an adjunct faculty member of the University of Rhode Island. Brandon enjoys music, exercise, reading, and learning languages.
