About

Carnessca is excited to help individuals recognize their strengths and areas for growth to improve their overall quality of life. She is passionate about providing therapy to culturally and ethnically diverse populations and has been doing so for over a decade, working in a variety of settings, including community mental health, schools, and jails. The focus of my work is to provide a space of compassion and empathy to empower clients to determine their goals and live life in a way that is authentic and genuine. Her areas of interest include but are not limited to anxiety, interpersonal relationships, life transitions, cultural integration, family challenges, and identity development. I take an eclectic approach to therapy that involves Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered Therapy, Solution-focused Therapy, and different family therapies and techniques. In her work, Carnessca provides services to adults, adolescents, couples and families.

In her spare time, she enjoys running, reading, and keeping up to date with pop culture.

Why Healthcare

My ideal client would be someone who is ready to make changes and begin therapy. I would enjoy working with someone who has goals but may need some help clarifying them and making a plan to work toward them. They would want to improve their anxiety and relationships to improve their overall functioning.
