Caswanna earned her master's degree in social work in 2019 from Washington University in St. Louis. Since post-master, she has worked in the child welfare system with children, adolescents, young adults, and families. In addition, she has worked as a crisis clinician, clinical supervisor, and medical social worker working with mothers and families who were currently or recently pregnant, had experienced a recent neonatal loss, early termination, and psychosocial stressors.
Her therapeutic approaches include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), person-centered therapy, psychodynamic psychotherapy, and motivational interviewing. She specializes in treating depression, anxiety, emotional and interpersonal concerns, and trauma- or stress-related issues.
