Christine has been in the mental health field for the past twelve years, supporting children, adolescents, and adults in improving their mental health and overall quality of life. Christine has experience in supporting individuals with a variety of diagnoses. She specializes in treating issues including anxiety, depression, ADHD, stress management, anger management, mood disorders, self-harm, suicidal ideation, substance use, and self-esteem. Christine also has extensive experience in crisis intervention and can support clients through some of their hardest moments. Christine is trained in CBT, DBT, and Motivational Interviewing and is an eclectic therapist who pulls from various modalities to tailor treatment to meet the needs of each client. Christine practices affirmative therapy and provides a supportive and validating environment for clients who identify as LGBTQIA+. Christine takes a trauma-informed and strengths-based approach to treatment to empower clients and help them tap into their internal resources to overcome challenges and rebuild their lives. Christine loves her three cats, who will often interrupt her sessions, and is a proud auntie to her nephew.

Why Healthcare

Christine has always been interested in psychology. Christine specialized in psychology during her undergraduate studies. While in college, Christine had her own experience with mental health and saw many others experiencing the same. Christine found it to be amazing how resilient people are, and how incredibly helpful and important mental health treatment is. Christine became passionate about helping those struggling with mental health conditions and pursued a career in mental health.
