About
Cynthia draws on her personal experiences with grief—from the loss of loved ones and the decline of a family member's health to challenges in relationships and spiritual hurt—to guide others in uncovering deeper layers of themselves. With over a decade of experience treating addictions, co-occurring conditions, and grief, she helps individuals reconnect with both their present-day and younger selves to heal old wounds and release emotional burdens. By identifying the various parts of their personalities and behaviors, Cynthia enables people to accept, understand, and even transform the aspects of themselves they struggle with. Yes, even the parts you may dislike or keep hidden—Cynthia can help you build a relationship with those, too.
Cynthia's therapeutic approach emphasizes the use of the sense of self as well as the body to meet emotional needs through Internal Family Systems (IFS), Somatic Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. Whether it's dancing, stimulating the vagus nerve, or using food to support emotional well-being, she encourages action as a vital part of the healing process. Her passion for this work is deeply personal, having used dance, somatic techniques, nutrition, and parts work to navigate her own experiences of loss, personal disappointments, and other life challenges.

Why Healthcare
Cynthia is deeply passionate about mental healthcare, driven by her own experiences of feeling lost and unsure of where to turn or how to seek help. Having witnessed many loved ones struggle with mental health challenges that went unaddressed, she realized that more than prayer was needed to heal. This inspired her to pursue a path where she could help others on their journey to healing as well.
