About

Emily is a compassionate and thoughtful therapist with a genuine passion for helping individuals navigate life's challenges. Her therapy style is warm and inviting. She believes in the strength and courage it takes individuals to take the first step into therapy. With five years of licensed experience in both the inpatient and outpatient settings, Emily brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her practice. She views therapy as a collaborative journey where clients are empowered to explore their thoughts, emotions, and experiences in a safe, non-judgmental space. She follows the lead of the person(s) sitting across from her and provides tools where necessary.

Emily considers herself spiritual and accepting, embodying open-mindedness, patience, empathy, and curiosity. She believes in the inherent strength and resilience of each individual and utilizes a variety of evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, person-centered approach, and mindfulness techniques. Emily takes an eclectic approach to therapy, tailoring her methods to meet each client's unique needs and preferences.

Beyond her professional life, Emily finds joy in hiking, practicing yoga, exploring new destinations through travel, indulging in TV shows, and cherishing moments spent outdoors with her beloved animals. She values quality time with family and friends, recognizing the importance of connection and balance in her own life, which further enriches her ability to connect with and support her clients on their journey toward healing and self-discovery. Emily takes pride in walking alongside those who choose me in their journey towards healing.
