Jacinta graduated from the University of Maryland School of Social Work in 2016 and began working in therapeutic foster care as a case manager before moving into a therapist role. Jacinta believes that an important part of being a therapist is to create a safe space for people to express and learn about themselves. Jacinta believes that a strength-based and person-centered approach helps people build trust in themselves and supports goal attainment and maintenance.

Why Healthcare
Jacinta has always been interested in supporting others in trusting and supporting themselves, and she has seen the benefits of mental healthcare in her own life.
