About

As a clinician, Jade takes pride and joy in assisting clients on their journey through self-discovery, effective communication, and facilitating meaningful relationships. In addition, she is passionate about working with persons from all walks of life through their traumas and life experiences and maintaining daily functioning. Jade's motivation stems from the desire to uplift and support the community through some of the most vulnerable times of their life. Her areas of focus include stress management, anxiety, depression, perinatal mental health, mood, work, and stress-related disorders. She believes that to be healthy, we must prioritize our well-being, show up for ourselves, and be intentional about our quality of life.

Jade began training when she attained her Bachelor of Science in Rehabilitation Psychology at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore. Following that life-changing experience, she attained her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the Chicago School of Professional Psychology in Washington, D.C. These institutions have equipped her to provide exceptional and specialized care to the populations she works with, and she is honored to be a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor serving Harmony Bay Wellness.

Why Healthcare

Mental health is necessary for survival, and I believe it is not only a choice but a commitment. As a clinician and advocate for mental health, I have seen facets of what some see as limitations, but I see them as an opportunity to better understand those around us. In addition to these opportunities, I have learned and expanded my knowledge by learning from my younger brother who is on the Autism spectrum. He has shown me how to defy the odds despite how your communication differs from others, and I'm grateful for that.
