Johanté has over 10 years of experience working with adults, couples, and teens from diverse backgrounds. She is equipped to manage cases from trauma and co-occurring disorders to anxiety, depression, stress, low self-esteem, adjustment issues, and relationship concerns. She has served veterans, intensive outpatient, mobile treatment, virtual care, and homeless populations. Through her positive approach to counseling and advocacy for client self-care, Johanté has seen clients improve and advocate to maintain their overall health throughout her treatment. Johanté is here to help you explore ways to cope with emotional distractions, invalidations, and negative-self talk.
