Lily is a strengths-based, trauma-informed clinician with specific experience in the substance use field. Lily has worked with many populations, but her work mainly surrounded supporting adolescents and adults who are living with significant mental illness and substance use. Lily likes to utilize cognitive behavioral and motivational interviewing approaches to support the people she is working with. Additionally, Lily is highly passionate about coming to this field using a strengths-based and trauma-informed lens to support the people she sees. Lily is an avid reader, loves dry humor (which she frequently uses in day-to-day interactions), and enjoys being active through exercise. Lily also enjoys rest and relaxation and loves spending time with her friends, family, and cat, Murph.

Lily is passionate about providing mental healthcare because of her own lived experience with receiving mental healthcare from a young age and witnessing family and friends around her go through their journey with significant mental illness and substance use. Lily values the power of relationships, especially having secure and safe relationships, and how that is a protective factor against mental illness and substance use. Lily finds purpose in creating safe and supportive environments with the people she supports and finds that the relationships she creates motivate her to continue working hard day to day in her role as a social worker.
