About
Natalie began her career working with children, adolescents, and families in a psychiatric hospital setting. In this setting, she worked with clients who were experiencing mental health crises, often assisting with symptoms of depression, suicidal ideations, self-harming urges, aggression, and homicidal ideations. Natalie learned to use an empathetic and person-centered approach while assisting clients in identifying strengths and coping skills that they can and will utilize. Natalie recognizes that the client is the expert in their life, and what might be best for her clients might be very different than what is best for herself. Natalie believes in utilizing collaboration from family and group therapy when appropriate to build up communication and support for her clients. Natalie is down-to-earth, nonjudgmental, here to support, listen, and educate on new solutions and healthy ways to cope with life's challenges. During Natalie's free time, she enjoys traveling, spending time with family and friends, playing games, baking, watching Disney movies, and playing with her cats, Aurora and Pepper.
