About
Peter started off with his counseling career in the homes and schools for children struggling with a serious emotional or behavioral disorder. As he honed his skills with planning treatment skills to identify coping skills and redirect negative behaviors, he began to find a passion for helping an entire family unit at the core. Pete sees the need to address relationship healing and unity for long-term success. This is something he values as he works with individuals and couples, along with families. Peter identified important values in natural supports, self-identity through values/faith, and using one's struggles as a foundation for self-growth.
He models his approach on identifying healthy coping skills by committing to his desire as an avid hiker and runner. Focusing on sports and active lifestyle has been a great way to stay centered in his life!

Why Healthcare
Peter began his interest in mental healthcare when he saw his starved high school peers growing up not having a proper support system in his school counselors. That led to his desire to help others and connect to another's heart. Pete loves building rapport with everyone and has found the ability to relate empathetically to others. He strives to pour into others as he has been blessed in his life with the natural supports cultivated by God and growth through valleys.
