Ryckel has been practicing in the field as a Licensed Social Worker since 2020, a few months after the pandemic started. She believes everyone has purpose and strengths that they may not have found yet, but can be discovered. She first started working as a youth counselor at a group home in Morris County, New Jersey for teenage girls before earning her social work licensure. She uses CBT, SFBT, positive psychology, and mindfulness when working with people. She has worked with children from age 5, teenagers, adults, older adults, families, and couples. She enjoys spending time with loved ones, playing video games, reading, and watching TV.

Ryckel has been passionate about helping people since she was a child. Ryckel grew up in a household with a mother with multiple health issues who was always in the hospital or usually in bed at home. There have been a lot of mental health and physical health issues in Ryckel's family. She understands and can empathize with individuals who struggle with mental health and would like to make a positive impact in any way that she can.
