About
Vicki has worked in the field for 9 years in roles with case management, care coordination, employment and education support, and therapy. She uses a person-centered blended approach with motivational interviewing, solutions focus, and mindfulness. She also utilizes worksheets and tools from CBT and DBT. Through therapy, she will assist you through your life challenges with empathic listening and a non-biased view. The style most used is open-ended questions, developing affirmations, and using mindfulness techniques. She strives to create a safe and supportive space for individuals to explore and grow. She truly believes having happy and healthy relationships is a key part of a happy life and understands how life stressors can make managing daily tasks difficult. She understands that change is not always easy and takes time. She is sex-positive, pro-sex work, LGBTQ+ & gender-affirming, and polyamory and kink/BDSM affirming.
Outside of the office, Vicki enjoys reading several book genres, hiking, traveling, trivia, and board games. Plus, taking millions of photos of her cat.

Why Healthcare
Vicki grew up in the Kensington part of Philadelphia. She saw and lived the struggles placed on low-income areas. From this experience, she decided she wanted to help people. It took navigating different career options to find the one she was most passionate about. After obtaining a psychology degree, she returned to Kensington to provide mental healthcare. Since then, it has been her goal to support individuals in working through stressors developed by systems that do not support individuals in striving in today's world.
