About
Ashley is a licensed professional counselor, specializes in treating adults with various mental health concerns including depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. Ashley believes that a positive therapeutic rapport and collaboration with the client throughout treatment are most effective in reaching client goals. As rapport builds, Ashley increasingly challenges clients’ thinking and behavior, utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy (REBT) interventions. Ashley encourages clients to come to therapy as they truly are, with confidence that the sessions are a judgement-free space. During her free time, Ashley enjoys going for walks, watching her favorite shows, going to the beach, and reading.

Why Healthcare
Ashley believes mental health, or lack thereof is one of the root causes of many other issues: poor physical health, familial and relational conflict, substance abuse, criminality, prejudice/discrimination, and suicide. Mental healthcare is healthcare and should be given equal regard. Therapy should be a standard preventative tool, rather than a last resort when issues are no longer manageable. It can save lives. That belief helps maintain Ashley's passion as a provider.
