Why Healthcare
I kind of conceptualize psychiatry as being where modern medicine was many many years ago. There is still so much we do not understand. So many new and exciting innovations…Ketamine spray, pharmacogenetics, TMS and more on the horizon.
Also, psychiatry gives me the privilege of helping someone through their sadness, mood swings..etc and many times I get the know the patient’s through their life…the good times, the bad times, the relapses and the successes. In other words, I get to know them over time.
