Why Healthcare
When I take a moment to stop and think about how I feel, it can be overwhelming sometimes, and I often ignore my mental health. Only when I acknowledge my mental health issues, can I seek a solution as simple as a 5 minute breathing meditation exercise, getting a massage, reading a book, or sharing how I feel with someone nonjudgmental. For this reason, I am passionate about providing mental healthcare because it affects every single facet of our daily living and functioning. Many people don’t even know they have a mental health illness and this feels normal to them! Being able to be a provider for mental health increases a person’s awareness and education on mental health, which can be rewarding to see as people get back their power and control over their own life!
