Emily is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of New Jersey with over 10 years of experience in the mental health field. She is a lifelong resident of New Jersey and earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Rutgers University and her Master’s Degree in Professional Counseling from Seton Hall University.
Emily has worked in a variety of settings, from residential and in-home services, to Partial Hospitalization and IOP, to outpatient. She has experience in mental health, addiction and treating children and adults from diverse backgrounds.
She believes in building a compassionate, and supportive therapeutic relationship with her clients to encourage growth and change. Emily utilizes evidence-based practices, including cognitive behavioral therapy and dialectical behavior therapy, to help clients build the skills they need to improve their lives.
In her free time, Emily enjoys baking, trying her hand at the occasional craft, and spending time with family, friends, and her cat.

Emily began her career working in a residential setting with adults with chronic mental health. From there, she went to case management and then began working in as a therapist in a community mental healthy agency. She gained experience working with a diverse population in both mental health and addiction. Emily is currently working towards her LCADC.
