As a clinician, Lizzie believes in using empathy and authenticity to build rapport with her clients. Former clients would describe Lizzie as a breath of fresh air, someone who is passionate about meeting client needs. Lizzie strives to make her therapeutic space safe and inviting so that you feel comfortable and welcome. Lizzie has experience working in mental health and substance use and is currently in training for eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) therapy. In addition to EMDR, Lizzie also uses approaches such as dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) and motivational interviewing (MI). When not in session, Lizzie enjoys watching reality TV and spending time with family.
