Starting therapy can be an overwhelming and intimidating process. With this in mind, Mary Ellen's goal is to create a warm, welcoming, and safe environment. Mary Ellen values a collaborative therapeutic process. She sees each individual as unique and works to tailor treatment to meet individual needs. Mary Ellen's passion as a counselor is working with teens, young adults, and adults (ages 13+). She works with clients to overcome anxiety and depression, improve self-esteem and social relationships, and navigate through life's challenges.
After graduating with her Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Immaculata University, she has worked in various mental health settings, including as Supervisor and Lead therapist for an adolescent partial hospitalization program, young adult intensive outpatient therapist, and community mental health.
In her free time, Mary Ellen enjoys spending time outside with her dog, Thor, and with her family. She also enjoys reading, movies, and gardening.
