About
Meredith has worked in the field of psychology and mental health for around ten years. She began her professional experience in the field with clinical research. Her research focused on mindfulness, neuroscience, and physiology with a clinical emphasis. She then completed a tenure assisting on several research studies that built on those interests. She realized during that time that she highly values patient relationships and performing clinical interviews to help community members access treatment and resources to feel better. She also felt the absence of the liberal arts perspective she utilized while studying Psychological Science at Vassar College. So, she began her Master of Social Work at Smith College to gain clinical licensure emphasizing a systems perspective and real-world issues that impact mental health. In addition to her professional interests, Meredith loves to spend time outside, bike, garden, and read and watch sci-fi.
