Stephanie began her experience in mental health by working in residential treatment. She interned at Auburn Youth and Family Services, You Inc, and Quabbin Regional High School. She graduated in 2017 with a Master of Arts in clinical counseling. She worked in outpatient counseling at Arbour Counseling and Clinical and Support Options (CSO) in Gardner. She began assessment and referral experience at CSO Gardner with outpatient intakes. Then, she began intake assessments at the Hospital for Behavioral Medicine for partial hospitalization (PHP) and in-patient (IPLOC) level of care.
Stephanie has been trained in crisis prevention and intervention. She has training in trauma-informed care, person-centered therapeutic practices, and cognitive behavioral therapy. She has worked with children, adolescents, and adults. She has experience with autism, depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and PTSD. She believes that mental health affects not just mood but all aspects of a person, including difficulties with sleep, appetite, and relationships with others. Stephanie enjoys painting, reading, science-fiction, and fantasy and loves animals.
