Why Healthcare

Teri became a counselor because she is passionate about working with people. She enjoys helping people work through their most difficult times and creating a partnership to focus on health and healing. With the pandemic opening the doors of telehealth, Teri felt passionate about keeping those doors open. When her company started closing those doors, she wanted to continue to reach out to people in need and ensure that others still had the opportunity to receive quality mental health care without the barriers of brick-and-mortar treatment.

Seeing people realize they can change their circumstances has helped drive her passion, recognizing that they can have happiness and their lives can be as wonderful as they want them to be. Teri wants all potential clients to know that "You are worth so much more than you know and stronger than you give yourself credit for. You have the strength to push forward and deserve to be loved as much as you give love to everyone else in return. You are not a doormat; do not allow others to walk all over you, and you have a voice that you're allowed to use."
