About
Sarah resides in Pennsylvania with her spouse and three children, aged 24, 21, and 18. The family's miniature dachshund, Blu, holds a special place in their hearts. She enjoys traveling with her family, laughing, watching murder mysteries, engaging in outdoor activities, and following home decor trends.
Sarah has experience working with a wide range of ages and populations and appreciates diversity. While working in a residential treatment center, she obtained certification as a BALM (family recovery) facilitator and became certified as a nature-informed therapist. She utilizes compassion and kindness to establish rapport and support clients while confronting their behaviors to facilitate positive change. A few therapeutic models she prefers to use throughout the process are ACT, CBT, DBT, and RTR. When appropriate, she will challenge the client to attempt to utilize various techniques or tools given to assist with gaining insight into their behavioral patterns and how they impact everyday life and relationships.
